It was a grim mood for the patron.  As he slipped away unspoken.  To find the swells of Honky Tonk music, along with gipsies of wishing wells.  Beautiful as they are not to panic at a star.  Leaving room for the benefit, not for one to counterfeit.  Collapsed is this heart of mine.  Forever intertwined.  Not to count the stolen blood vessels.  For they set sail to settle.  Past debts are paid in full, and the money that was owed was insured.  There can't be an expression for the loss of a love.  Especially one wishing, from above.  So what is to say about those in the living?  Should they take out from the beginning?  Is there anything else to boast about the past?  To doubt, there was a rip tide that's shadow cast.  So take the plunder into the light, for we are in the dark tonight.  This Honky Tonk scene took us all to show.  Not to mention the one who knows.  So lift your head, not to bow.  There is much more than a yesterday frown.  We remember smiles and laughter.  Not blame and banter.  Ask of yourself this, could all this be missed?  If we didn't take the chance.  To listen to country, and dance.  There is a time to hit rock bottom, a geologist will know.  That all to uncover, is already bestowed.  Rest well the bells of the night, come morning--you will see in bright.  And if in doubt, listen to some Honky Tonk, and wait for sight.
